I'd prefer Gore over Kerry
Edited on Thu Jun-15-06 09:05 PM by quinnox
I see a lot of talk around another Kerry run in 2008. Look, I like Kerry, I went to his rally and think he is a fine man. But I'm not sure he would make a winning candidate. People talk about Kerry being robbed and that is justification, but Gore was robbed worse! He deserves the presidency if it wasn't for the shenanigans Bush's friends pulled.

I also think Gore would have a greater chance of winning in the election.

I would like to see an agreement reached between them, that if either one should run then the other won't.

1. If that's how you feel, go here.

It's possible if we all work to make it happen!

Otherwise no one will have a chance in 08.

while I prefer Kerry, I really like Gore. He is definitively my second choice at this point.

4. Gore would be "The Best President Ever!"
He deserves far better praise than anything I could write. Also, I agree, of all the current candidates, including Kerry, I believe Gore is the better choice by far.

5. The only one who CAN win is the one who works to secure voting machines
or pursues the banning of electronic voting machines state by state.

And that person will DESERVE it.

Plus - I want the books opened on BushInc. It would be nice if Gore would even mention it, but his record on open books isn't so great.

19. Do you mean the New Gore over the New Kerry
or the Old Gore over the New Kerry, or the New Gore over the Old Kerry, or the Old Gore over the Old Kerry?

Because there's no saying which vs. which we would get under the spotlight of an election.

I would take the New Gore over any form of Kerry, and any form of Kerry over the Old Gore.

22. Gore/Feingold 2008!
I know, I know... 2006 first & major election fraud - I'm with everyone on those issue 100 percent.

But if people think whom the two most influential leaders are right now grasping the attention most needed to regain our civil liberties, Constitutional Rights and Global Warming that is a moral issue that affects all of us, I can't think of better leaders then Gore & Feingold, hands-down.

I think more then the majority are seriously ready for a major change, and these two can and would do it.

27. absolutely . . . Gore is the better candidate for many reasons . . .
not the least of which are . . .

- he's already WON a presidential election, by a half million votes (or more), and

- he's not a "Massachusetts liberal" -- still, unfortunately, anathema to many voters that Democrats could attract . . .

30. Kerry over Gore by a long shot
I was a Bradley man in 2000 and Kerry has been my main man before Gore was...

I like Al, don't get me wrong. He'd be a wonderful asset in the Kerry administration.

Kerry's cool and all, but the people who have recently turned against Bush seem like they'd prefer Gore, and I've found that overall I like him better than Kerry.
