2006 primaries and elections are what matter NOW.

1. The Patriot Project and The Fighting Dems -
Edited on Thu Jun-15-06 07:40 PM by blm
We are working to defend ANY Democratic candidate for 2006 being targetted by the GOP swiftboating tactic.

And keeping the media and GOP control of voting machines as the focus issues.

2. To send Santorum back home. If he has one.
We've had to deal with that blow-dried mountebank for wa-a-a-ay too long.

In the words of Master Po*, "It is time for you to leave".

* Master Po, played by Keye Luke, was the abbot of the Shaolin monastery in which Kwai Chang Caine (David Carradine) studied, the backstory to the classic TV show Kung Fu.

8. You'uns all have good sense there in Pittsburgh
Maybe Hell has a housing project that needs a new janitor.

I guess I'm being a little hard on the janitors, to say nothing of the residents of Hell, but Pittsburgh certainly doesn't deserve the moralizing, slimy little turd.

15. The Lamont crew has called me!
I think I am going to do the phone bank thingy from the New Haven office from 11 to 3 p.m. weekdays.
I work in New Haven so I can just head down there at 11 and then go right to work at 3:30.
They wanted me to host a house party but I don't live alone so I told them that is out of the question.

Oh yeah, and they want me to go through the list of registered DEMS in my hometown, check off the people I know and then I can send them a postcard telling them I am voting for Ned and why I think they should. Cool idea!

:hi: :bounce:

than send $$$ to help other areas. I want to have a least one Dem senator to email/call.

12. Working the elections...
I'm not working for any candidate, I'm a poll worker in the city of Waltham (MA)...I'm working to make sure the elections are free and fair, and most importantly...accurate.

We'll be starting the training programs soon for the fall primaries and the general election. It will be interesting to see if the city clerk has answers to all my questions about security.

17. See links below, replacing Hayes with Kissell, remember his name
KISSELL!! House of Representatives, 8th district, Hayes has a wallet full of Delay Dollars that he didn't return, unlike many of his Republican buddies in the House. He was the last minute vote for CAFTA that changed it all after he promised all of us in the 8th he would vote against it. I'm so impressed with Kissell, when he speaks at meetings he tells us that we haven't been represented and he's ready to do the job right. He lets us know how he's going to do it.

If you would like to help him financially, there's a link at our web page below or you can go directly to www.larrykissell.com and donate there. Every Democratic Dollar he can get to go up against Dirty Delay Dollars would be so helpful. If you donate, thanks in advance!!

18. Working in Nevada for the Dem Party
Primarily, I want to see a local Assembly Repug get upseated by our guy in my District. Then, of course, in NV, we also have Jack Carter running against John Ensign for Senate and we have a lady by the name of Jill Derby who is vying for the seat in Congress. We also have an interesting Governors race, where out current Congress asshat, Jim Gibbons, is running for Governor in the primary for the Repubs (against one of our local Repug Assemblywoman and out repug SOS). Jim Gibbons' wife, Dawn Gibbons, is vying for the Congress position that he is leaving, and if she wins the primary, she'll go up against our gal Jill Derby.

19. Rush Holt's my Congresscritter & he's a good one.
I'll be sending a little money his way and if they want me I'll volunetter I'll also be happy to contribute to and work for Menendez.

It's nice to have decent candidates to support. So much better than when I was in Brooklyn where I was stuck in Aggh Molinari's district.
