1. Yes. In the first hour.
He watched Bush's press conference and made some interesting observations. He said that when Bush gets some "good" news, he has what appears to be a manic episode. When manic, Bush just can't control himself. He said the excessive "joking" with the press corps is one indicator. He loses his ability to perceive when he has crossed the line. he said that the press corps is afraid to point out that Bush is out of control because on some level they are afraid of pushing him over the edge. They sense a man who is out of control.

He said that Bush also exhibited this type of behavior during the second debate when he answered a question successfully, and he literally was like a hyperactive toddler who just couldn't contain his glee.

He also talked about some of the characteristics of a person in a manic state. Saying they have a need to control and dominate. They will viciously attack anyone who threatens their feeling of superiority.

It was interesting.

always fascinating- and scary. Here's an article (interview with Dr. Frank) that came out recently:

http://www.larouchepub.com/other/interviews/2006/3314justin_frank.html

George Bush Is a Very Destructive Man; He Needs To Be Removed From Office

Dr. Justin A. Frank, a Washington, D.C.-based psychoanalyst and Professor of Psychiatry at George Washington University Medical School, was interviewed by Jeffrey Steinberg on March 26, 2006. Dr. Frank is the author of the bestselling book, Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President (HarperCollins: hardcover 2004, paperback 2005).

<snip>

Frank: Well, my updated psychological assessment is essentially, that he is still very much the way he was: Which was that he suffers from a couple of basic things which I will describe. But I've gotten teh sense recently, that Bush is like a Rorschach test for the left: Everybody has a different theory about him.

My clinical sense of him is that he is a man who is compromised by a couple of things:

One is by learning disabilities, which makes it hard for him to read, and therefore hard for him to visualize and anticipate events.

He is also compromised by his long history of alcoholism. That has led him to see the world in black and white, and for him to have to use black-and-white thinking, in order to manage his anxiety—and everything makes him anxious. So, he has to surround himself with people who agree with him, who see things the way he does, and who never question him.

3. If you want to listen,
it will be replayed later this evening, if you have streaming radio. Do a google search for 1090 AM Seattle. Randi comes on at 6 PM Pacific Time on that station weeknights. I find the streaming on that radio station pretty good.

6. He's been on before
last time I heard him was a couple weeks ago. Now that AAR is no longer on the Atlanta airwaves, I don't get to listen to Randi on the drive home :mad:
