Was it my stickers?
Edited on Thu Jun-15-06 05:02 PM by danagsk8
This afternoon I had an unfortunate incident on the expressway. I was trying to get off at my exit--and I actually used my turn signal for it!--when a white male in a shiny-new silver convertible not only cuts me off and nearly makes me miss my exit, but also flips me two birds while doing it! I noticed the plain "W" on his bumper, and wondered if maybe my liberal, DU-type bumper stickers offended him.

No matter. I was sick of being mistreated by the rich white male demographic. They always get away with everything! So, as I passed his car on the road, I rolled down my window and yelled, "Jocksh--!" I figured I wasn't shouting loud enough, but I was wrong. He chased me around this parking lot. I was scared out of my mind, so I didn't realize I was going the wrong way! I managed to finally shake him off, but now the rest of my day was ruined.

No, I am not against the entire white male demographic (my dad happens to be one)--just the ones who think they are so superior and are always right, making the rest of us look like criminals.

:grr: :nuke: :scared: :argh:

7. Do what I do
When somebody is obnoxious like that, I send in a contribution to the Dems, that way I know
that I have taken the hurt and made it into something positive, he's obiviously a very hurting
person or he would not be this mean over a piece of paper glued to your bumper.

9. Another Thought
The following comments are controversial. If you don't like it, ignore.

I'm not very comfortable with bumper stickers that are meant to piss people off.

I'm not saying that your stickers are like that. But when you put stickers on your car that are meant to make people angry, how are you different from Coulter?

Oh sure, your politics are different. But Coulter's not looking for debate. She's only hoping to piss us off and energize her band of RW supporters. Except for the political opinions on the actual stickers, that's what would be happening in this case also.

There's nothing wrong with being angry. I can't blame you for being angry. But we can't allow ourselves to become just like the RWers.

Seabeyond just told of an opposite experience with having DU-type bumper stickers. Go figure. :scared:

11. Dial 9-1-1, give them the license number and report the incident. Some
jurisdictions (not all) will send a letter to the jerk informing him of the complaint. He would probably have a stroke trying to figure out which person he PO'd that day called him in.

13. Dial 911 and report him as a DUI. That will get a faster response.
Simple and quick. A very subjective call, too (officer, he was weaving). And there is a damn good chance the aggressive driver IS, indeed, intoxicated. That's what I do to aggressive drivers. Let them sort it out with the law. Eh?

12. Free advice
And worth exactly what it costs. :)

Don't engage the nuts. They have probably already screwed up their own lives - don't give them the chance to screw up (or end) yours.
