M$M Casino took Rove "Off the Hook" as bet that Repugs Win in November..
Edited on Thu Jun-15-06 04:44 PM by KoKo01
My scan from CNBC (THE BIG CASINO) through Tweety and CNN seems to show that the Markets and the Entertainment Media think "Rove Unleashed" means bad times for Democrats.

What's laughable about their stupid "predictability" is that they have no idea what's REALLY going on out there in America. They are so sure that the "Game" they've forced Americans to play with the Religious Right Wing and the RW Wall St. Repugs is just going to work again like it always has.

Why am I confident that the Repugs are WRONG this time? It may sound strange to you but it because Bill Gates is "transitioning" himself out of Microsoft and the Wall St. Pundits say that he's "old school" and that GOOGLE is the New Kid on the Block.

Well folks...I'm here on DU today because of Microsoft's Win95 but GOOGLE has been my friend for searches and the INTERNET has replaced the M$M for me in my ability to stay INFORMED. I-POD's and fast downloads for "INDY MEDIA" and ability to read "INFORMED SOURCES" online has replaced my dependence on "Old TV/Mainstream Print Media."

I imagine there are millions of young folks out there who look on what comes over the "TUBE" as their Grandparents Media.

I think the Netroots and the New Media are going to throw Rove and his "Great Script" (which is over the hill and sooooooo out of it) out the window in 06. Hey, I could be wrong but when I laugh at what I see on Tee Vee and I'm not a kid (but a 60's person)...then I know something's up that they aren't
gonna see 'til it bites them it their butts. :D

5. The "Machines" are the BIG factor...no doubt...but the "Change" in US
is Bigger...in that we've moved so far to the Tech Side since 2004/2000 that the "oldie pundits" can't even grasp how far the CHANGE the "Internets" has gone for us on the LEFT.

If we don't win in '06 we still have almost 2 years to Re-Group! I see this as VERY HOPEFUL!!!

2. Re:
It's all over if we don't win in 2008. Then, I'd seriously consider giving it up.

4. Not Enough
The repubs are not going to allow the Dems to win enough seats to make it look legit, but not enough to gain control of either house.

I hope I'm wrong, but they have too much at stake to allow us Dems to get control and start subpoenas and hearings, etc.

They need to maintain control so they can have a shot at rigging the '08 presidential election, and get even more power and control of this mini-dictatorship.

8. I hope and think we are much stronger now than we were then...............
I think with every "stolen/corrupted" election we on the "Net Roots" do really, grow stronger. We are getting our "act together" those of us "oldies and youngies and inbetweenies."

I think we will be a HUGE force to contend with by Election '08.

We've been building "in the background" since Al Gore was Thrown Out by the "Junkyard Dogs." :-(
