5. Let them gloat
The last five year proves, if anything, BushCo can't string more than two or three wins in a row without an outrage getting in the way. If the media ignored these 'successes' it would play into the gop victim mentality that says the msm ignores good news about Bush.

But the direction is downward. Bush is literally suffering another catastrophic success.

12. Zarqmentum!
how nice--riding on the World Soccer surge.

We just need to wakeup the 18-34s to the jam we're in. They'll vote with their wallets. It's the only thing the corps respect anyway

13. Q: Did the media EVER, under ANY circumstances, refer to...
... Clinton's "surge of momentum"?

Where, just to be clear, Clinton's popularity was typically DOUBLE gw's.

16. You knew this was coming.
They were looking so bad after the reports of Marine atrocities that the MSM is going all out to try and prop up Bush's poll numbers.
The whole thing is so predictable. Just when Bush is about to hit his lowest point they kill Zarqawi (there's a coincidence) and he makes a quick trip to Baghdad. Suddenly everything's coming up roses for Bush. Does killing one man and a 5 hour stop-over really spell progress in Iraq? If that's the case then kill another dozen and send Bush there permanently.
