Diebold? Fraud? American ADHD? Do we stand a chance in November?

I spend less and less time here these days; the news seems to just get worse and its affecting my attitude. That being said, do we really stand a chance come November? What do you all really think?

means by which votes are cast (Diebold) and will control more things like they did in Ohio when the had a "shortage" of machines in Toledo and Cleveland.

5. After the disappointing news on Rove

and all the time wasted on endless speculation over indictments and who told who whatever... I've come to the realization that the Bush White House could find a way to use an impeachment to their advantage the way they have used the Plame investigation. So when the Democrats take control of the House in November and begin impeachment proceedings, the administration can go about the dirty work of destroying our democracy while the nation is focused on the impeachment which will drag on for too long and keep the people on the edge of their seats until the last wavering Republican holdout gives in and votes for acquital.

What do I really think? Even if we do stand a chance in November, we don't stand a chance.

though things may indeed seem grim. I may be a deluded optomist but I feel they simply can't get away with it for much longer. They will inevitably face the same demise that every imperial power has throughout recorded history. . .by lack of virtue of their own hubris.
