7. Republicans picked a hell of a time to go after government waste

What have they been doing for 5 1/2 years but exploding the deficit? Has Bush ever vetoed a spending bill? It's not right for these cards to be used for frivilous enterprises like lap dances and porn, but the vast majority of people who had these cards were deserving Hurricane victims and used them for what they were supposed to. It does seem that the bigger problem was the sheer negligence of FEMA in doling out these cards to people who were not victims. By all means, if someone was not a hurricane victim and they got their hands on these cards and used them for entertainment, then go ahead and do something.

But a lot more money is wasted in Iraq every day, and if these people were serious about stopping government waste they would direct their resources over there.

8. Why don't they do an investigation on Bush

and how he hired Halliburton & others to be the contractors down there BEFORE the people were even rescued out of the SuperDome! And where is that money given to those contractors? What have they done down there to help the victims of the hurricane? Where is the accounting?
