First headlines from the news conference say: Bush 'inspired' by Iraq trip
here's what's happening 'on the ground' in Iraq

Burned alive, the latest victim of Baghdad's bloody carnage

His body horrifically ablaze, a young Iraqi teenager is dragged to safety amid the devastation of Baghdad's latest suicide bombing.

As a ball of fire engulfed vehicles and market stalls, passers-by risked their own lives to reach out to the wounded man while flames began to take a grip on what remained of his clothing, torn to shreads by shrapnel from the blast.

Such is the lottery of life that is Baghdad today. Just three feet from him a man sits, his arms raised in terror and pain, as he dies an awful death in the flames.

Both men had been at market stalls when the blast hit indiscrimately in the Iraqi capital, mocking the enormous security crackdown imposed by 40,000 Iraqi and Coalition forces in Baghdad today.
