"#9, p.5: "On or about June 12, 2003, LIBBY was advised by the Vice ..."

Well, we now know that we've moved a bit past "the beginning" ...

Two people have much to be truly fearful of Mr. Patrick Fitzgerald - one is Cheney and the other is "get Wilson" Bu$h.

Rover took a big hit from Poppy in another scam with his buddy Novak. This time around, I suspect it's "payback" that Rover is going to deliver.

No way that gutless chump is going to take the fall for Cheney and Dubya's violations of the National Security Act of 1947, and a bunch of other Federal statutes in the outing of a CIA NOC and the destruction of other national intelligence assets.

No way.

Oh, and Scooter, if you haven't sung yet, you probably have lost any opportunity to do much more than shave a year or two from a prolonged experience of the hard kind.

Never Forget: George W. Bush willfully violated National Security to cover-up his willful launch of a war of aggression and illegal occupation of Iraq.

2. I suggest you spend a bit of time reading about what Mr. Fitzgerald ...

... accomplished in Illinois in a case that began as a single count indictment against one person.

3. So, you're suggesting that Rove was let go in return for turning in
Bush or Cheney?

That's a great thought. Thanks for cheering me up.

Another possibility, it seemed to me, is that Rove really did get indicted or is in some sort of trouble, and they're lying about it. Why wouldn't Fitzgerald comment on the story?

4. I think Mr. Fitzgerald's lack of comment is consistent with the reality ..
... that this is an ongoing case and he made at least one of his targets crystal clear in the Libby indictment of 28 October 2005.

They all knew how serious their actions were - the outing of a CIA NOC, the willful destruction of additional national security assets, the malicious, and, most damning of all, orchestrated attack on Wilson (for which I think it likely both he and his wife will seek rightful reparations, eventually).

No way Libby, Rover or any of the WHIGers (and ancillary White House folk) were going to participate in such criminal actions without the boss(es) giving the order. I suspect not even Cheney would have pulled this particular trigger without Bu$h's explicit order to "get Wilson."

So, I've not changed my opinion one bit, since the morning of 28 Oct when I first read the Libby indictment - Libby, Rove (and a bunch of others) are merely stepping stones on a path that leads Mr. Fitzgerald to Cheney, and most likely, Bu$h.

Folk really need to study how successful Mr. Fitzgerald is. He is a master of the roll-up. And, he takes meticulous, steady steps in the process.

Peace.

7. Well
I trust your opinion on this over anything I hear from the Rove camp.

I do fear for Fitzgerald's life, however.

If we hear about him "suiciding" before too long there are going to be a lot of "tinfoilhatters" around here.

6. "but the Cheney scrawlings on Joe Wilson’s op-ed are the "blue dress" ...
...

In_deed.

The only remaining issue for me is if Cheney rolls on Bu$h (or, if Rover already has).

Peace.

8. Always enjoy reading your insight
Fitz has had lots of experience prosecuting those criminals in Chicago. I trust Fitz knows what he is doing in proceeding to prosecute the criminals in Plamegate.
