Okay folks,it looks like the Deus Ex Machina is not going to descend fromn the sky. Fitz seems to have turned out to be "Much Sound and Fury Signifying Nothing."

Karl Rove will continue to be in power. He'll continue to be brilliant and ruthless. He'll continue to practice his Black Magic.

So let's just move on, accepting that reality.

And more important, let's do what we should be doing all along. Fight his lies and distortions with the truth. Instead of trying to co-opt the warped views he espouses, we need to take him on and counter them.

We're no better off and no worse off than we were when this whoie brouhaha started.

Those are the terms of it. Let's not deny it. And let's not wallow in it. This is what we've been up against all along. Today's events just mean we ought to do the same thiugs we ought to do anyway.

And most important, let's breask out of the circular firing squad. Of we want to fight with we should at least fight over things that really matter....
