Lieberman's campaign manager says: They won't support Ned
Apparently Lieberman's campaign manager admitted on a radio program that Lieberman won't support Ned Lamont if Lamont wins the Senate nomination.

(this was also posted on Kos)

But in other good news for the Lamont campaign--the CT Federation of Teachers endorsed him over Joe.

1. Lieberman is the only person who can live up to the "SoreLoserman" label
even when polls show him in the lead. What a schmuck Lieberman is!

7. I feel really ambivalent about a Democrat using that term
I'm not a Lieberman fan, but that little trinket of political rhetoric really gets my back hairs up. He's probably just trying to scare fence sitters away from backing his opponent with a threat to run as an independent. This is still Joe's nomination to lose, even if he is trying to do exactly that.

9. Lieberman has been a whiny crybaby about being challenged in the primary
since Lamont came onto the seen. He has verbally bullied and threatened Dem delegates to the convention and voters in general if they supported a primary bid against him. Well, the delegates gave Lamont over twice what he needed to get on the primary ballot, so Lieberman is still pissed off that he has to campaign to keep his seat.

Lieberman's actions all point to an arrogant jerk and arrogant jerks are sore losers.

2. Wasn't Lieberman supposed to switch parties today?
Or was it later this week?

Too much news to keep track of.

5. wow
what a dick. His pride is more important to him than the well being of the country. This tells you a lot.

8. I've always liked the protocol of Dem candidates supporting whichever
other Democrat wins a primary.

Or the nomination, in the broader arena.

I think Lieberman's manager should have ducked the question and talked about the campaigns in general terms rather than make his boss out to be a territorial old coot.

10. Just shows his true colors--as if we didn't already know that he is a
Republican.

Why doesn't he just run as a Republican? Is he so dishonest?!

Rhetorical question, of course.
