The hypocrisy of Ann Coulter's statement
I know, i know, enough about Coulter... but I haven't seen anyone say this yet.

Just posted to my personal blog

Everyone's talking about what Ann Coulter said and how disgusting it was or wasn't. But the underlying hypocrisy in her words seems to be overlooked by everyone.

Please note that on the Today show, she put forward the concept of "liberal infallibility." She is miffed at the Jersey Girls because she feels is not allowed to refute their points without being told she's attacking their legitimacy.

But is there one word that she has said to refute their points? Where is her experience of doing so?

ALL she is doing is attacking their legitimacy. Talking about whether they are really grieving or not, whether they seek publicity.

It's supremely absurd that the Right is claiming it is being prevented from making anything but ad hominem attacks, when all along it has been making nothing but ad hominem attacks!

"You're forcing me to be mean because you call me mean even when I'm nice!"

Try being nice one more time. Honestly. Just try it.

1. I think it's too late for the Coulter Beast

She has tripped the fight fantastic and now she's just having one long flashback.

She is a flawed human. Some people are born with a cleft palate. I believe she may have been born with a cleft brain. Granted having an unusual genetic expression does not automatically make you "flawed" or inferior, it's what you do with what you have.

Therefore even if she can't just use being piss poor protoplasm as an excuse, what she has done with what she has is even more embarrassing.

She's a sociopath. She doesn't care who gets hurt or killed or how anyone feels - it's simply not a human value of hers. She has no basic human empathy and only this torrent of rage and anger that she taps. I want to ask her to describe a perfect Ann Coulter world for us where all problems had been fixed, in fact where no one had ever even heard of a liberal or a gay person or a brown person.

I'll bet you she still couldn't describe it without comparing it to a bogeyman of some kind worthy of rage and disrespect. And if she could I'd buy her a plane ticket and send her on her way, because she's clearly not very happy here and it's not going to change in her lifetime.

2. I agree.
Just as in postmortem analysis of serial murders and sociopaths detect certain structures are different in their brains, showing an inability to empathize or relate to others, I see Ann Coulter that way. We've all seen a long history of her narcissistic comments, hostile diatribes, lack of concern for others, and willingness to encourage violence. There's definitely more wrong with her than we've thought. I wouldn't be surprised if a CAT scan revealed some major anomalies. All she needs now is that hockey-mask Hannibal Lecter wears.
