2. According to this article
He might be associated with Cunningham:

~snip~

The Pentagon never asked for the ADCS projects, and in a 2000 report, the inspector general said Wilkes' company got the $9.7 million Panama contract under pressure from two congressmen. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the two congressmen were Cunningham and Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif.

5. I was amazed to read this weekend that he was named in court
filing in Dec 2005 as being bribed....th4e filing was unsealed in March 2006. If the lwasuit is based on fact ...he's toast.

7. Not at all surprising if there's another corrupt San Diego politician -
that's what goes on in the local government as well, especially city of San Diego.

8. San Diego's become Corruption Control Central
Chicago once held that claim to fame but San Diego is the current title holder without a doubt.

11. I know someone that is close to him. I can't tell you in what way.
But I thought I had read somewhere that Hunter was involved with Abramoff. Thank you for that blog post.

10. He Deserves Some Lemon Chicken
...as the long-term guest of a Federal correctional facility...right next to his buddy Duke Cunningham and down the hall from Jerry (Hey Laydee) Lewis and John Doolittle.

He's up to his eyebrows in the MZB mess and probably has his hands in a bunch of other defense contractor messes. This dude has enabled the war profiteering industry big time.
