I just met Janet Reno

Talked to her for a few minutes. Shook hands. She's very thin.

Oh yeah, the crowd was liberal leaning in a conservative town.

1. Oh, dear.
Is it the Parkinson's, do you think? Or just aging. She was a tad heavy before.

2. Parkinson's.
But she's strong in spirit. She expressed disappointment that there were so many wealthy people in the room. She wondered where the "diverse group" who really needed help was.

4. I wish she was Attorney General now
Probably one of the best there was. Certainly not an ashcroft or Gonzales but then she is a Democrat.

I remember seeing her on the "Daily Show" indecision 2004 dvd I have and she was pretty thin there. I hope she's doing okay.

8. was this in Florida? what sort of an event was it? how wonderful for you

that you were there. Janet Reno is one classy lady.

I've wondered why we haven't been hearing more about Janet Reno in the news lately. She is really one KOOL lady. Back when she was running for Governor of florida my husband and I went to her Birthday BBQ which was held at the house her mom built. It was an interesting day. It is an interesting house. Janet Reno was beautiful and is too bad that the bushes had bill mcbride and the diebold machines steal election from janet reno. (We, my husband and I) had a picture taken with Janet Reno on that hot July day--she is wearing a straw hat, which she kept on all day so as to keep the sun away from her.

9. I got to talk to her for a few minutes.
She was key speaker at a symposium on Parkinson's. Very sincere and funny lady. What a pleasure talking to her.

She has a lot of compassion for others who are disabled, especially from Parkinson's. She's a fighter, tho, and won't let the disease get her down. She said she is taking it slower these day, but still likes to kayak.

Powerful presence that has nothing to do with politics.

11. When my daughter was in 6th gr, she wanted to be Janet Reno for Halloween.
Because she admired her so much.

She was tall for her age then and had her hair sort of short. So she could of pulled it off.

She ended up doing a "MIB" costume, because she didn't think enough people in our south Georgia town would be smart enough to "get" a Janet Reno costume.

She's a freshman in college now. University of Puget Sound.

12. That's funny.
I never appreciated Reno before. Meeting her sure gives a different perspective on my opinion of her.
