Anyone remember this nutjob? (pics)
Ernest T. Bass, the rock throwing dumber than shit loose cannon with a mean and nasty streak who found his mother figure in Helen Crump, Mayberry's school teacher?

Remind you of anyone?

when no one remembers Ernest T. Bass. I'm officially old today.

This thread was funny. Trust me.

And one day, years from now, it will be laughed at

14. I remember him, but I think he's smarter than Shrub
Heck, Howard Morris wrote many of the "Andy Griffith" episodes and was a talented actor, director and writer.

10. I remember this nutjob very well
and strongly resent your comparing Ernest T. Bass (real name Howard Morris)to the Chimperor.

Ernest T. Bass was very funny; Bush, on the other hand, literally makes me physically sick.

Ernest T. Bass, IMHO, was by far the funniest character(next to Don Knotts, of course)on the Andy Griffith show (although, when he was in an episode I thought he stole all the laughs from Don Knotts). I still LMAO at the episodes that he played in, particularly the one where Ernest T. has his mind set on marrying Briscoe Darling's daughter Charlene. For the uninformed, The Darling's were a mountain family whose boys were members of the Dillards bluegrass band. It was this episode (and a couple of others where the Darlings were featured in) that kindled a lifelong love of bluegrass music.

Never to be confused with Mr. T, since there was never an "Ernest T Ate My Balls" website.

Good ol' Ernest. *singing* You deserve a brick today...
