When Did God get a PR firm and into "branding?" I want to hire them.

Really?

Driving down the road earlier today, there were billboards, bumper stickers, God Shops on every corner (churches)... Seemed even more than usual.

He's got rock bands and "christian comedians," he's got three or four cable networks, book clubs and pop literature, his own book stores, movies...

All with one thing in common: They bring in SHITLOADS of money.


I would have thought that that the end-all, be-all infinite creator with infinite power could have done all this with a simple thought or wave of a hand... Guess I'm wrong.

He's pretty good at creating worlds but he sucks at finances because he's always asking for money.

2. Our firm landed the God account back in the early 90's

The Catholic Church was losing it's shiny happy image (see Altar Boys v Archdiocese), and we were brought in to handle marketing and customer service.
We paid off a few young men, moved some Priests around, planted some false stories about the "gay agenda", "abortion on demand", the "liberal media" and so on.
Well, the campaign worked like a charm. We made politics about sex, turned peace into war, divided the country, and took everyone's eyes off our prize and put the blame where it really lies - Bill Clinton.
