PBS has been broadcasting DCI finals for a long time. It would be a shame to see that go.

To learn about DCI, go here.

1. One? ONE?? Sheesh. There's jillions.
For me personally, Ethics in America was possibly the best show of ANY sort I've ever seen on television. Old school, but whatever.

6. Ridiculous, isn't it?

They ask the members to do some pretty impossible things... and they pull it off.

Like, wow.

edit: I auditioned for the Madison Scouts cymbal line in 1994. They offered me a COLORGUARD spot.

Of COURSE I took it. I got cut (expelled- I wasn't keeping up with the rest of the guard, and what a SHOCK that was :sarcasm:) halfway through the season and didn't march finals as a result, but it was still an amazing experience.

8. Capitalairs (all girl) drum corps out of Madison was my beat.
I lied to get in, was 22 and 21 was the cut off.......first year of it's startup, and it WAS the best experience of my musical life. People will say, "oh, drum corps is like a band right", and no way, no comparison. Drum Corps is a way of life.

7. pbs
should be funded at least as good if not better then the bbc and given the job of being the voice of the groups that the mainstream media suppress.
