But I saw the film last week, and I'm not surprised that the Great Unwashed are trying to diss it. It is indeed an Inconvenient Truth, but all they have to offer against it is hissy fits. Me, I welcome the Once And Future Next President of The United States.

But do go to see it at Camelview. It's an awesome movie and if more people do go, Harkins will add it to more theaters. I was fortunate to see it at a screening at the Esplanade last week. The audience applauded in several places! There is hope in this right wing haven. :-)

Subject: Morons who hate planet Earth are free to step off.

Those of you dumb enough to think global warming is some sort of myth or hype are living in the non-reality based part of society anyway, so just go to Jonestown, drink your koolaid and catch your ride to somewhere else and quit getting in the way of people who just want to get the work done to make sure there is a planet worth passing on to future generations.

As for the movie. I have to give it an A because it answers a huge need.. people are starving for the truth in this time when there is more mis-information in the daily news than can be removed with a backhoe. There is NO SCIENTIFIC DISPUTE over global warming.

The movie isn't fancy. It isn't trying to yank on your heart strings. It isn't over the top, but it's still scary.

We all live here and no matter who you are or what you think of the movie, if we don't at least get going on doing the small things to make a difference in about 10 years no one will be able to dispute global warming... and it will be too late to do anything about it either.

Wake up people. It's your life on the line. Planet Earth goes belly up, it's game over. If you're stupid enough to ignore every sign and all the people who are speaking the truth, do the rest of us a favor and give yourself a Darwin Award.

I saw the movie last weekend and it was great. Steel yourself for just a couple of slightly depressing scenes when they address the Supreme Court selection of 2000 and show some moments from the Infrauduration back then, 'cause you start to think about what could have been and what shouldn't have been in the ensuing years. But overall a great, informative, empowering, and uplifting film. Highly recommended!
