1. My guess: She spoiled Bush Jr.'s plans to buy off Cheney (re Treasongate)

by giving him New Orleans as a retirement village (handily close to some of the country's last oil supplies, too). I suspect that our pResident was (still is?) being blackmailed. Blanco is a marked woman. And, yes, we have seen this before, in more than one instance.
