Alan Bennett on Sirius Talk Left

I heard his show for the first time this morning and was incredibly disappointed. I was hoping to hear intelligent discussion about current events from a liberal perspective. Instead it was the invective of the right just lobbed in the other direction. Instead of discussing policy and judgment of right wing decision makers it was about their looks and speculation about sexual orientation.

Is this typical of the show or did I just stumble into a low segment?

Alex certainly has his own style, but his show frequently does some good and interesting stuff. I've never heard him descend to your assesment of 'invective of the right just lobbed in the other direction' although he certainly has no problem calling assholes assholes.
