Sam Walton divided up his estate before he died and gave it to his five children. They are the ones involved in trying to eliminate the estate tax.

But I read an article recently, that for the past 10 years or so, 17 of the richest families in America were financing a movement to end the tax. Mainly through some woman in California, I believe.
