4. Read my Amazon review:
Coulter Trashes 9-11 Widows in her Filthy Tome, June 6, 2006
Reviewer: N. Pincus "npincus" (USA) - See all my reviews

If you buy this disgusting piece of trash, then you must really hate America. Ann accuses the 9-11 widows of using their own tragedy to "become millionaires". Of course, defaming these poor women (true heroes who lobbied for the 9-11 Commission which Ann's beloved president opposed) will pad Ms. Coulter's own bank account-- how much did the publisher pay her to write this disgusting filth? She is exactly what she accuses other of-- a Godless, graceless, ammoral pice of human waste.

Buy this book, and pad Ms. Coulter's bank account, with the rest of America-haters.

7. my review
Simpleton book for simpletons, June 6, 2006
Reviewer: rogue valley "rogue" (Eugene, Oregon, USA) - See all my reviews

It amazes me that people can get paid for this. You can go into a bar and listen to drunks formulate better arguments to couch their hatred in. I used to think she just wanted attention and money. Now I know that she's a disturbed person. I am sure she scours the internet looking for validation and she will read these reviews. If she does, I would suggest that she get counseling before she hurts herself. She's an anorexic/bulemic squib that never got enough daddy hugs, who had a frigid mommy and therefore spleens her inadequacies at people who don't deserve it. Cindy Sheehan and the 9/11 widows. Think about that. A grieving mother and widows. OF all the targets in the world, she picks on grief-stricken women who DARED to have an opinion about a world that crapped on their happiness. Nothing Anne Coulter suffered/s or experienced can touch them and she knows it. Therefore, she stands on their suffering and sticks pins in their eyes. I have never seen a sadder, more intellectually stagnant and appalling person in my life.

Anyone who buys this book (and why is a brand new hardcover book selling at cut rate prices out of the chute-I am sure conservative wingnuts will buy them in bulk to justify the little icon saying so on seller lists) is a heartless, evil-minded buffoon.

8. my barnes and noble review
rogue, a human being and an American, June 6, 2006, 1 star
Coulter
I believe the capitalized review above was written by Coulter herself. Smells like her work. This book is so evil it glows in the dark. Trashing widows and grieving mothers is so low it deserves the silence it will surely receive from normal people. Oh, and I would have put this into capitals, Anne, but I don't like to raise my voice. In a career of penning garbage, this is the logical capping of a trash-spewing 'career'. I mourn the trees killed to print this.

I had to remove crap, craptastic and crappy from this review or they wouldn't post it. SIGH! CENSURESHIP!

The best thing about Ann Coulter is that she's a walking example of the superior conservative mindset.

She's a great supporter of the glorious Iraq occupation, though she's so modest that I've never once heard her brag about her own, undoubtedly heroic, combat experiences in Iraq. It's not even part of her resume! Talk about modest! And then- to call John Murtha a coward and a traitor- man! He must outrank her after 35 years of service! She's so brave to stand up to the brass like that!

Ann is the only person I know of with the guts to tell that whiny Cindy Sheehan to suck it up and keep quiet. Ann doesn't actually have a son of her own to lose in Iraq, of course- but that's only because Ann is unmarried and therefore, a virgin.

Same goes for those nattering nabobs, the 9-11 widows. It takes some real guts to call those women out on all the fun they've been having on their husbands' deaths. You've got to have real brass ones to stand up and point the finger at the REAL VILLAINS in this whole mess- the victims of 9-11!

Keep walking that walk, Ann! My fighting, virginal queen!

on a side note, reading some of the comments on the Amazon blog are scary. No wonder so many people are so easily brainwashed.

They proudly hate and eschew education and the media as being full of liberal lies, align themselves with Christianity even though I seldom see any Christ-like activity from them, then get their empty minds filled up with garbage.

In most arguments and discussions I've had with conservatives, they really do not understand or know liberals - it always reminds me of those old European descriptions of lions and other exotic animals which they have never even seen.

It also, of course, reminds me of the xenophobic comments made by people who have never taken the time to actually befriend someone who is different.

Ann Spews Forth...

In her latest book, scientific “expert” Ann Coulter claims to debunk evolution and states that it leads to liberal “immorality” (I must have missed the study she commissioned that compares the instances of child abuse/molestation between science teachers and clergymen). Her claim that a belief in reality leads to immorality is ludicrous; however, I do agree with the implication that most right-wing fundies are anti-intellectual and anti-science and are therefore mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging, hate-filled bigots who spend their hard-earned dollars on this “pandering to the drooling idiots in the choir” toxic custard that the Bulimic Blonde continues to regurgitate while she laughs all the way to the vomitorium. She is dead on correct there.

Everyone can get lucky at least once.

Also, Anorexic Ann, with her insider’s knowledge of the vast liberal conspiracy, reveals what liberals say when right-wingers are not around (she moonlights at the NSA?).

Perhaps in a future printing she can add a chapter on what right-wingers really think but will not say outside of their circles. Here, I’ll help her with her future bullet-points.

Appetite: Right-wingers want to outlaw contraception because it will add more veal to their diet.

Church and State: Right-wingers want to replace the Constitution with the 10 Commandments—well, all except the one about coveting your neighbor’s wife.

Discrimination: After eliminating gays, liberals, religious and racial minorities, Right-wingers will enacts laws discriminating against others that God hates, especially those immoral crippled, blind and flat-nosed people (Leviticus 21:17-18).

Really, they do talk amongst themselves on these topics at length. Take my word for it. These are undisputable facts, as compiled by me using Ann Coulter’s infallible methodology.

Really…

...and wonder how it is that some people, like B. Lynch "theonewhoknows" (nothing, presumably) below, get the idea that they're intellects who are "in the know." Trying to slog my way through his/her morass of specious logic, horrendous spelling, and outright falsehoods in defense of this scrawny, skanky bitch's "book," I clicked to see what else he/she'd wrought here at Amazon. Get this: 4 stars for Neil Young's "Living with War," 5 stars for Pearl Jam's self-titled latest. Does this self-described member of the cognoscenti even understand that those are two profoundly antiwar, anti-Bush, anti-Republican works? I doubt it.

Critics prove Ann is 'Right', June 6, 2006
Reviewer: B. Lynch "the_onewhoknows" (USA) - See all my reviews

Ann Coulter probably heard that there are three things you never discuss in polite conversation: sex, religion and politics. She has read Ben Franklin's works (or at least she quotes him a lot), and knows that "One man's religion is another man's belly laugh".

So, here Ann has a book that examines the "religion" of liberals, and finds that it is one obsessed with sex (especially of the perverse kind), and politics (liberals seek to impose their religious values on America via the political process). In "GODLESS", A. COulter is simply repeating what liberals say all the time among themselves, and revealing that they are everything that they accuse Christian fundamentalists of being!

1) Liberals are intolerant (the "why I hate Ann Coulter and her books" commentary here reveal that to the world).

2) Liberals have rigid belief systems and are not interested in scientific analysis of facts.
A) Liberals believe that homosexuality is inherited, even though evolutionary biology and theories of natural selection indicate that this is biologically (and logically) impossible;
B) Liberals believe in Al Gore's 'global warming' hysteria -- no matter that actual climate data proves he is wrong;
C) Liberals believe abortion is an explicit constitutionally protected right, even though the U.S. Supreme Court called it an "emanation from a penumbra of an implied right" in the ROE v WADE decision;
D) Liberals believe that stealing from people is justified if you call it a 'tax on the rich';
E) Liberals are convinced that what they regard as politically incorrect ideas should be censored and banned by the government (just read some of the liberal reviews here for confirmation);
F) Liberals actively proseletyze bizzare forms of paganism which (as Patrick Buchanan noted many years back), encourages the worship of trees, seals, whales, caribou herds and spotted owls, but believes in human sacrifice (just look at how fervently liberals defend the sanctitiy of abortions) ...

I could go on at length, but it's better to read the book and get a more complete list of the rigid ideology of intolerant liberals from what Ann Coulter has researched and written ...

Like Michelle Malkin (author of Liberals unhinged) and other recent conservtive authors, Ann Coulter uses wit and humor to make some very serious points about the crack up of the so called progressives in America. She notes that liberalism is a dangerous and un-stable movement that is being run by what Frank Zappa used to call "desparate nerds in high offices".

In education, the systemic failure of government run schools under liberal command and control, now threatens the economic future of the United States. Students are being taught warmed over Marxism (the context is sex, race and sexual-preferences), and little of value.

The Public schools growing (glaring) failure has come despite huge increases in funding over the past 20 years, and the implementation of nearly every left-wing wish-list government program that was proposed. The results are obvious: most U.S. high school graduates can not do trigonometry or find anything on a map, but they know all about homosexuality, and believe that The United States has somehow caused most of the world's problems.

Educrats also teach kids that their inability to get jobs is not due to the fact that they were never taught any worthwhile job skills in public schools, but instead it's because captialists are greedy and want to only exploit people in other countries for their 'cheap labor'.

Tenured radicals now run most colleges and university academic departments, and the tenure system is being used to cement a cadre of dogmatic (mainly Marxist) professors in so-called higher education. In "GODLESS", Coulter reveals that the dogmas of educrats are the catechism of extreme leftists -- who she states are just as rigid and intolerant of dissent as the Spanish Inquisition (just read the liberal comments attacking Coulter here, for confirmation).

In the media, liberal ideas are being rejected at the polls, even as the media become more extreme and strident in their insistence that anyone who disagrees with them is in need of re-programming or some brand of sensitivity (re)-education. Think about it: almost ALL mainstream media regularly run so-called 'news reports' featuring some one calling conservative ideas "hate speech".

Liberals control most of the mainstream media, but because they have been so wrong for so long, most people who want news are looking to alternative sources for their information. As Bernard Goldberg, John Stossel and others have written: the majority of the media news is just propaganda and ideology, not facts or information. Ann Coulter says that the media ideology is consistent with an extreme set of religious view held by most people who call themselves liberals in America today.

Ann Coulter touches several raw nerves here, but her premise is solid: she presents arguments that make the case that the core beliefs and ideas of most liberals are essentially a strange religion that they are imposing on America, via its institutions.

34. My review, which I also posted on DU earlier:
Whether some right-wing nut will be influenced by Coulter's Nazi hate propaganda against liberals, Muslims, and anyone not like her and commit an Oklahoma City-like act of violence remains to be seen.

But if it happens, I sincerely hope Coulter and every company involved in publishing and selling her hate speech is sued out of existance by the victim's families. In addition, I hope Fox News and every other hate speaker like her, including O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Savage, etc. is levied in a class-action lawsuit and has to suffer excessive punitive damages, AT THE VERY LEAST.

I believe the most important right in this country is free speech, but not when it it intentionally used to encourage people to harm others. Coulter's "speech" explicitly encourages hate, racism, bigotry, and violence. She represents the very worst of not only the Republican Party, but the human race, and she's not alone.

35. One of the reviews is mine

Did I read it? No. Will I read it? Not in a million years. So why did I review it? Because what I said could be attributed to ANY of her pieces of filth. That's why.

It's under "Hyphenate" for those interested. But for those who want the skinny without the research:

Too many of Ann Coulter's "facts" go unsubstantiated throughout all her books. She tries to be serious, but how can anyone who ignores research and truth be in any way taken seriously? Since her rise to popularity as one of the supporters of Paula Jones during the Clinton years, she has had no legal good standing in any of her attacks on the left and on the Democratic Party. Objective critics have taken apart her books, often going page-to-page to show the flaws, the illogic, and more than anything, the outright lies she tells in her writing, things which she will never correct or publicly declare as inaccurate.

It is a very sad thing when someone who writes fiction as truth, as she tries to assert her writing as, can be so easily debunked, and her writing is so weak as to show the shame of her educational upbringing. She writes wholly on a base, primitively emotional level, which seems to please many conservatives and Republicans whose education is subpar to even her own, but whose work falls apart quite handily when subjected to any kind of real scrutiny.

The leaders of our country have sadly failed more often than not in the past 6 years, and their real contribution to our country is the overexposure of people like Coulter who truly disgrace our country in its once proud heritage of higher education. If William Faulkner, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Mark Twain or Ernest Hemingway were alive today, they would surely be able to denounce such writing as far from literature as it is possible. Their spirits must indeed be incensed that such a one as Coulter believes herself in any way a true author.

Last time I looked 45 out of 88 had found my review useful.

update: now it's 47 out of 91. :)
