4. You're so right. You know for a mAdministration that

jumps on the press with "you shouldn't have said whatever you are abetting the terrarists" what did they do ? Announce to the world that they are easing up on protecting NYC and DC.

But you know what, I actually understand what Chertoff was trying to say about it. 2005 had specific one time capital expenditures in the budget which would not recur in 2006. But he absolutely did create a PR nightmare.

What I am most concerned about is his nonchalance. I want the DHS to be led by a real firecracker who jumps and reacts and protects us !!!
