Limbaugh: Liberals Are ‘Ecstatic’ About Haditha,
Planning ‘Gang Rape’ of War Supporters

Gee - who will we gang rape first?

I have dibs on Sean Hannity!!!!!

Yesterday, Rush Limbaugh asserted that “the American left” and “the drive-by media” is happy about allegations of misconduct against civilians by U.S. troops at Haditha. Moreover, they planned on using Haditha to “gang rape” supporters of the war to undermine U.S. efforts in Iraq:

This Haditha story, this Haditha incident, whatever, this is it folks, this is the final big push on behalf of the Democratic Party, the American left, and the Drive-By Media to destroy our effort to win the war in Iraq. That’s what Haditha represents — and they are going about it gleefully. They are ecstatic about it… Folks, let me just put it in graphic terms. It is going to be a gang rape. There is going to be a gang rape by the Democratic Party, the American left and the Drive-By Media, to finally take us out in the war against Iraq. Make no bones about it.

Actually, taking the allegations seriously is essential to our success in creating a secure and democratic Iraq. The Iraqi people need to know the truth, which is that the alleged conduct is not tolerated in the United States military or in American society. It requires a thorough investigation by the United States government, thorough coverage by the United States media, and appropriate outrage by the American public, left, right, and center.

Anything less does a disservice to all the troops in Iraq who have held themselves to highest ethical standards under extreme pressure.

1. Limbaugh and his ilk are fascist thugs
There is NOTHING comparable on the left to their massive structure of hate mongering and propaganda.

One can only hope that Limbaugh will fail one of his piss tests on probation. I believe he is still abusing, but the people that rely on his show to keep the people stupid will undoubtedly arrange for the tests to be bogus.

11. Buying and Selling "clean" urine
was a growth industry many years ago in the Navy. A sailor who may have smoked some dope on liberty would purchase another sailors "clean" urine and dribble it into the container in a rather ingenious fashion. One young lad came clean on the drug test but his sample indicated he was pregnant. More dumb criminal activity.

2. I would be "ecstatic" about an opportunity to plant my boot in his ass!
That Lying gas bag has caused more trouble in this Country than any other man alive. I wish there were some way to prosecute him for spreading his horseshit. It seems that peddling malicious falsehoods over the public air waves would not be allowed. But the FCC is too worried about that somebody saw a tit, after all only 51% of the world population has them.

And yeah, I would agree that he is evil. But you don't have to be a genius to find an audience of idiots.

6. If one were to seek the truth
one would find that "conservatives" aren't really concerned about what may have happened in Haditha. American troops killing "ragheads?" As, "what's the big deal?" echos from the "conservative" klaverns. And what about that conservative blather about greeting us with flowers and we'll be in and out in months? Just one more example of why "conservatives" in America do not deserve constitutional liberties.

25. I believe the new term is "hajji"
The latest from last visit to VA. I supposed to be there today but they screwed up the prep instructions so I skated. Of course it will take forever to get rescheduled, since I have waited 27 hours for the call back that would be in an hour or two.

8. Hey limbaugh,
I know where you can score some good stuff. The best "Hillbilly Heroin" money can buy. Come and get it.
Does anyone take this fool seriously anymore? His ratings are slipping, according to what I've heard and people are coming around to AAR and other progressive radio. ASs a Liberal, I am distressed by what I've heard about Haditha and am distressed by what it does to the image of America abroad. Most Liberal people feel the same way. Limbaugh is just talking out his considerable ass again.

14. Ecstatic?
Nope, not what I feel at all. Pretty sad about it really and embarrassed too.

I thought maybe something good could come out of the war, now I'm convinced that it is an even worse mistake than Viet Nam ever was.

12. Who told him that? Was it Lt.Col. Luke Fitzpatrick?
Limbaugh admitted to airing call from phony liberal-bashing Lt. Col. in Iraq but continued to hold out hope officer was real

http://mediamatters.org/items/200606050007

Summary: On his radio show, Rush Limbaugh admitted he had aired a phone call from a purported Air Force officer in Iraq who the military says "oes not exist." The apparently phony officer, who Limbaugh said identified himself as "Lieutenant Colonel Luke Fitzpatrick" of the "336th Tactical Air Wing," delivered what Limbaugh described as a "profound" and "mov" message. But despite acknowledging that Pentagon officials and the Air Force told him they have no record of a "Luke Fitzpatrick" or a "336th Tactical Air Wing," Limbaugh nonetheless continued to float the possibility that the caller was in fact an officer in Iraq.

Now, there's a number of ways to play this, ladies and gentlemen. What, Mr. Snerdly? What? Now, the way to play -- we could go the Dan Rather route. We could go the Dan Rather route and say, well, nobody's proved that what he said was wrong and so, we're going to stand by what he said. Nobody can -- nobody can find fault with what the man identifying himself as Luke Fitzpatrick said, so, we're going to stick with it. Nobody's been able to challenge the veracity of his comments. They say he doesn't exist, but clearly, he was somebody.

We don't -- seriously, we don't know if he genuinely is a member of the Air Force and was trying to hide his identity and using a fake name and giving some incorrect information just to protect -- we have no clue. All we can tell you is that the Air Force says, and the military says, he doesn't -- there's nobody by that name and -- and that the 336th Tactical Air Wing based out of Tallil is not called tactical. In fact, they're not even there. It's the 407th Air Expeditionary, per the military.

Then, the other option we have is: Do we believe the military? The man did have some very pointed things to say. The man was very -- whatever. I mean, whoever he is, he had some very, very pointed -- like let us go. Turn us loose. Let us out of the cages and do what we came here to do.

16. Just another blatant act of desperation.

The conservative movement is dying. We really owe Smirky and his co-conspirators a debt of gratitude for this. Limbore keeps trying frantically to administer CPR but the patient is on its way out.

17. I get so sick of hearing this kind of BS. There are those on the
right that seem to think we love to hear about American troops being killed and that we want the terrorists to win. This is just so blatantly stupid that it's hard to believe that anyone is buying into this twisted line of thought, but you can find the same talking points regurgitated daily by many of the wingnuts. There are people out there that will accept anything they are told as long as it agrees with what they want to believe. It's called willful ignorance.

22. The lonely soldiers
snip:

I have a question. What do people expect to happen in a war? Troops are shot at, their friends are killed, and they retaliate. It’s a war. Unlike President Bush’s proclamation this war is not over. If the atrocities in Haditha are true I believe situations like this will continue until the insurgency is brought to its knees. If enough evidence is found during the investigation you can bet that the individual U.S. troops involved will be prosecuted. The lonely soldier will be the one that faces judgment but in my opinion the people that sent them there in the first place should be the ones on trial. The Bush Administration, namely President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and Secretary Rumsfeld want to take credit and responsibility for all the positive things that have happened in Iraq but they need to step up to the plate and accept responsibility for the negative situations like Haditha and Abu Ghraib as well. In my opinion if troops go into a town or village and wipe out some civilians because their buddies were just killed then they shouldn’t be prosecuted. Murder is a part of everyday life in a war. The buck doesn’t stop with the guy on the ground. It goes all the way to the top.
