Hello GD (and GDP)

I hope it's ok to post this in here, I just want to *kind of* introduce myself here because i never used to post in these forums, only in 2004 ERD and The Lounge. So, I just wanted to say hello to everyone in here and GDP - figured not to post this over there as it's more geared toward serious political issues.

I just feel like there are so many people in this section that I don't recognize.
I'm Faye, 27, from NJ, have a 5 year old daughter, work in Purchasing for a company that remanufactures printer cartridges, i'm obsessed with the band VNV Nation and i'm determined to see the fraud of the 2004 election come to light - as well as Bush's impeachment :bounce:

I think I will be posting in these 2 forums more often, I've been lurking too long and hardly post in here :blush:

oh yeah, a little about my political 'stance' -- i consider myself a democrat i suppose, but also a wee bit libertarian, somewhere in between. i'm a liberal libertarian democrat. if that makes any sense.

GD can be brutal, refreshing, educational, inspirational, accusatory, supportive and conflictive all within a single thread. So welcome.

And the first time someone calls you a freeper or accuses you of having "republican values", you know that person most likely has nothing else to add in the discussion.

"Government, stay out of our private lives"--our emails, our phone conversations, our reproductive decisions, I'm with you all the way.

Of course, it is OK to post on this board, or any other on DU. That's, after all, what DU is for.

Recommend Ignoring those on DU who are jerks, and try not to get in a pissing match with them--a mistake I have made a couple of times. I rarely post on the General Discussion board, but rather on GD Politics--as most things seem political to me, and it is obviously simpler to post on one board.
