So I'm watching the new Penn & Teller about abstinence in the US-very well done btw; they quote all the figures for the millions the gov't has spent promoting abstinence-only education and debunk everything in their ususal way (I don't always agree with them but I do think they do a good job at some of their stuff) and it occurs to me---
The right wing has spent all this time and money convincing all of us NOT to have sex; and actively trying to prevent it; and then :
HERE COMES THE IMMIGRATION DUSTUP!
What do they do?
GO ON FOX NEWS AND TELL US TO MAKE MORE BABIES!!!

I know it's not funny; but it is........I literally laughed at the screen for 10 min. when I made the connection.

It's biting them in the ass BIGTIME.

4. Really yes too; but

they are trying to make white teenagers do it as a measure of superiority somehow ("we're purer than you! we have more self control!" blah blah) Myriad reasons---easier to control and train; etc.; etc.
I swear that's how much they don't care about black ppl or any other color than white; for that matter. They don't even really bother to try in the black community as much; and they don't want whites mixing either.
It's really another horrible form of racisim.They just didn't think it through AT ALL. I am laughing so friggin hard.
