the rich do not pay an "inheritence tax" they pay their lawyers hundreds of thousands to get around paying taxes. this bill is all about getting rid of lawyers fees..

A while back my family got burned badly over an estate taxes. Family farm on the edge of a booming real estate area and it was state not federal. Had they known what could be done, it would have been tax free.

Some change was called for, but this is well beyond reasonable

7. We got hit too

when my aunt died, no one knew she had a ittle over $ 1 million. Estate tax cost about $ 180,000.

That meant we all got smaller shares and none of us were rich. I know the church and the dog adoption center sure could have used their full share.

I called Senator Nelson's office (Nebraska)a few weeks ago about the estate tax and the person on the line said Nelson supported full repeal of the tax, but he thought it would end up being compromised at around $ 5 million sometime this summer.

I told him I didn't support full repeal but a $ 5 million compromise seemed fair to me.

I feel that it is a waste of energy to focus on distractions like Paris Hilton. She does not have the power (or, I assume, inclination) to hurt me, my family, my country, or the planet. Bush and the rest of the criminal syndicate that have taken over the United States does have that power- and is using it viciously. The Paris Hiltons of the world are just distractions-
