Do Republicans have a criminal gene?

Disclaimer: I'm just having my fun after all those years of listening to the freepers say that blacks and hispanics are criminally prone and the proof is that there are more of them in prison.

So, if that is true, then doesn't the present Republican era of corruption prove that people that tend to vote Republican have a higher inclination for personal excesses that involve non-corporal hedonism? And their ability to put aside selfish behavior in favor of making sacrifices for the greater good is defective?

Which means that once our country puts an emphasis on curtailing white collar crime, will there be more Republicans in jail than on the streets?

One can hope.
