The tipping point
This is something I've been thinking about for the last several days. I know I've reached my tipping point as far as this band of nitwits goes. I've been tipped for several years.
But what do you think is the tipping point for the rest of the "uninformed" populace of this country? What exactly will it take for the balance beam to hit the surface? What will it take for the sleepers to wake up? What will jolt them into the reality of what is taking place while they go about their silly lives? What needs to happen before they realize they are being played?
What is the tipping point? Are we close yet? I hope so, because I'm so frustated about where our country is at, it's hard to be.

1. I think Haditha and other incidents might do it. Every thinking
American who hears what's going on is going to wonder why this is going on, and then wonder who's ultimately responsible. This could be a cold, hard wake-up.
It certainly won't be dimson talking about marriage rights next week. :eyes:

2. That's the key, every "thinking" person...
There is going to be a small percentage of the population that will follow Bush into the fire, no matter what. I think the key is to organising the 80% rather than converting the 20%.

10 million people, all armed, storming the White House would get your country back pretty fucking quick.

18. A millitary overthrow would only be useful for
creating another militarized government. But this does make me wonder... with as much malcontent as there is, why aren't we seeing more millitary disobedience? My only guess is that it was the draft that brought anti-war people into the military during Vietnam, and that sort of G.I. resistance isn't happening today because there aren't that many of that 'type' in the Army. I wish more people would do what that British soldier did and refuse to fight...he's a hero. And he's in jail now, isn't he? *sigh*

3. Haditha has shown that our soldiers have reached the tipping
point....going on 3rd and 4th tours....no replacements....they are calling up people that have been retired.

It's going to be the draft....the * cabal has lied about everything...they will bring back the draft and if you think the richest of rich got out of serving in Vietnam....it's going to be even worse with all the special exclusions that this administration puts into the draft....This will push America over the edge....

I also think what if the US suffers another Terrorist attack....who are the 29% going to hold accountable...because that has been the base of their argument...the * cabal has kept us safe....it's going to be earth shattering for these people.....and it's going to inflame the rest of America....

they aren't sufficiently prepared.

5. The tipping point will be when
Conde and **** step outside the white house doors, hand in hand, and tell the world that they are in love.....and the camera slowly fades to a shot of Laura softly sobbing into her hanky.:puke:

7. Ok, but what will it take for the majority to act. to say....
that's it... I'm not going to accept this anymore. What is going on in this country is wrong and what we are doing in the world is wrong, so I will do something to make it stop. What is the tipping point?

8. My answer above details what I the tipping points might be
but now that I think about it..

The tipping point will be something that we are not expecting...it's going to be another event that the Administration tries to lie away and ignore but the Americans will be absolutely bat shit crazy...

I don't know what the event is...but I feel it.....it's coming.....something is going to happen....

11. I'm at the point that I don't care what stupid thing tips the balance.
As long as it tips. There have been so many crimes committed by this regime, and they have gone almost unnoticed. I've always said that the little nitwit would not finish out his term. I still believe that.
I never dreamed he and his malicious troop would do the damage that they have done. So many people don't see it, but it seems more are beginning to be more aware.

20. It's true that more people are feeling the impact of this...
administration and their allies in Congress decisions. The middle class is sliding towards poverty. So much for the American dream.

9. I have a feeling the tipping point is right now.
Haditha and the Rolling Stone article on election fraud, on top of everything else. Just give it a little time to sink in, about two weeks or so. Then Dubya will be looking back with nostalgia at his 29% approval rating.

13. Come to think of it, I haven't noticed
but thanks for bringing it up. I wonder what will happen when they do get around to taking another poll (assuming the results are published).

21. 30-33% is a miserable approval rating
especially considering how long it is remaining at this level. I don't think those that are sticking it out with Chimpy at this point will ever change. I know several and they are totally blind and hopeless. They blame 9/11 on Clinton and still talk about Monica. I believe there to be little difference between 25% and 35%. The fact is that a great majority of the American people have lost confidence in our fearless f____ked up leader. The question is whether the Democrats can get organized and take advantage.

Gas hits $4.00 a gallon.

* is widely photographed with another woman, or mainstream press picks up the story that Pickles has moved out of the White House.

23. You're probably right...sort of a sad commentary on where this country's
head is at, but that is probably what it will take.
I guess I'd prefer people wake up for more important reasons, but as long as they wake up, I'll take it.
