Has anyone else been sent this forward about "red" Fridays?
Now I have to worry about NOT wearing red on Fridays. Ugh.

Red Friday

> RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon you will see a great many people wearing Red
> every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the
> "silent majority". We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for
> God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized,
> boisterous or over-bearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV to reflect our

>
> Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize

> and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending
> a deafening message that.. Every red-blooded American who supports our men
> and women afar will wear something red
>
> By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United Stateson every Friday a
> sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If
> everyone of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances,
> co-workers, friends, and family it won't be long before the USA is covered in RED and
> it will let our troops know that the once "silent" majority is on their side
> more than ever, certainly more than the media let on.
>
> The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things

> out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear something red every
> Friday.
>
> IF YOU AGREE --THEN SEND THIS ON
>
> IF YOU COULDN'T CARE LESS THEN HIT THE DELETE BUTTON --- IT IS YOUR CHOICE.
> WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE.
>
> THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED---- SO WEAR RED! --- MAY GOD HELP AMERICATO BECOME ONE

2. Clownish behavior by fake patriots
If "conservatives" really want to show their patriotism why haven't any accepted my offer to drive them to the Army recruiting station the past three and a half years?

An incredible bally laugh for me that a bunch of loud mouth borish fools who hoot and holler and blather on ad infinitum trying to convince each other they are "patriotic" label themselves as "silent." "Conservatives" get more ignorant with each passing stunt.

I'm a combat zone veteran. I'll wear whatever the fuck color I want to on Friday. And "conservatives" can make asses of themselves 24/7, thanks to our veterans.

3. so?
Let's wear red every other day of the week. They hijacked the flag, the minutemen, patriotism, and everything else for their insane lies....now they're taking over colors???

HELL NO!

Wear red four days of the week, and black on Fridays. There.

8. Yup, it's an old one. And I've yet to see all these red Friday folks.
I love how thw warmongers play the victim
by calling themselves "the silent majority"...:puke:

They are a MINORITY, a LOUD and OBNOXIOUS one,
and they always were.

:nopity::nopity::nopity:

They support the war, not the troops. They support Bush, not the troops.

And it is the land of the free and the home OF the brave. The brave are not a separate class or limited to the military. The brave our those who value their freedom even though it entails risk.

Morans.

12. Funny, wearing red on Fridays is thought of in Canada
to support Canadian troops in Afghanistan. Now I believe this is a neo con idea. There is a big hullabaloo this week about Cdn Prime Minister Harper being a Bush Mini Me when it comes to speaking to the "liberal" Canadian press. He walked out on them last week. There is an excellent article in The Toronto Star yesterday.
http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1148681734842&call_pageid=968256290204&col=968350116795

this article discussed that and how Harper's views are very deeply based on Leo Strauss. This is the same belief ideology of the American neocons who signed the PNAC letter in 1998 to Clinton to invade Iraq. These same signers, most of them, are in the George W. Bush administration or support it. I am deeply concerned that neoconservatives are now trying to control Canada. Fortunately Harper has a minority government and there is a strong possibility that an election will be called within two years. Now knowing that he is a Strauss disciple I am will be very, very active in getting his out of power and unelected. I strongly urge DU readers to find and watch the documentary THE RISE OF THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT to get an idea of the insanity this man professes. We have extremists who are ruling our countries.

I want to support the Canadian troops who were tricked by the American administration that the Afghanistan situation was quieted and in control. What a crock the Americans fed Canada. But Harper is Bush's me and a member of his elite force. Canada just lost a soldier a couple weeks ago in Afghanistan. My federal MP wrote me how the American soldiers roll through villages in Afghanistan with their skull and crossbones on their tanks, making fun of Canadian soldiers who are building roads and schools for the Afghanistan people.

Today we see the feelings the Afghan's have for the American soldiers with a riot over a traffic accident caused by American military in Kabul . http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapcf/05/29/afghan.protest/index.html

I won't be wearing red after all on Fridays.
