is CNN insane?

This shots fired deal...they got live coverage. While the newskids are telling us all is well and no one is hurt...there's a woman, on a stretcher, being put in an ambulance...and the ambulance drives off...so far no reference to it at all and CNN is carrying the live stream!

edit:typos

1. You actually saw someone being put into an ambulance??

Well, if your eyes aren't deceiving you and they're not reporting it - must be significant.

6. yes
I swear to Bob! A black woman in a stretcher...they carted her over to the ambulance, put her in and then the camera panned back out and the ambulance drove off. It happend right as Jamie King was saying there were no injuries, no confirmation of shots fired...

FYI: The woman looked calm and there was no blood or breathing apparatus on her.

Ahhh...Jamie just said it...one woman was taken away...

7. MSNBC said a woman outside the building had fainted.
Seems like CNN could have at least mentioned it.

9. She fainted.
According to MSNBC an hour ago.

The helicopters are buzzing overhead (I'm 11
blocks from the Capitol).

10. MSNBC "reporter" just cracked me up ...
I had turned on the news at 1:10 while I ate my lunch. Obviously, it was wall-to-wall coverage of the "shooting." The MSNBC reporter who was on the scene was blabbing on and on, ad nauseum, about all of these vague, disjointed scenarios. He then said, presumably with a straight face, to the MSNBC anchor woman back at the studio, "You have to be careful not to over-report these kinds of stories." Right. MSNBC/CNN/Fox/et.al. would never, ever over-report trivial crap.
