Are there still any Soldier's blogs?
Or have all the Iraq-stationed troops had their phones and computers confiscated?

1. I would guess that it is highly discouraged.
Military people aren't highly regarded for having a mind of their own.

2. Yes, didn't we hear about soldiers...

...keeping online blogs from the warzones? I bet they've been too "busy" to sign on lately...

edited to say that the pentagon has been pretty successful at shutting down dissenting voices from Iraq.

6. the other thing i wonder about is that
group (platoon?) of soldiers who refused to go on a particular mission because they knew that it was suicide.

I remember that several of them had called their moms, etc to tell them about it.

last i heard, these soldiers were "sequestered" in some tent - and the DoD made a point to say that these people were *not* jailed.

anyone?
