Anyone else noticing a resurgence of W stickers?
I was driving in Raleigh and noticed at least 6 of the W/04 and one W for President just today.
Yesterday, I saw about 5.

BTW, they looked "fresh".

Before this week, I could go DAYS without seeing any, so I wonder what is up.

15. I've seen a resurgance of them in the North Orange County area
Although they're mostly faded, it still bugs the hell out of me that people here, in the west coast, support the smirking chimp.

Or else they're "M"s - for "Murtha" - only they're upside down.

Maybe?

It could be.

Not seeing any here in Northern VA. Thanks be to whomever has made this possible. My spray paint can is almost empty.

we're looking for them. My family is spread from Birmingham to (almost) Huntsville.

We've been watching for weeks and don't see many.

5. Holding steady in Salem, Ore.
Which is W territory. Seeing a lot of Kerry stickers still. Wonder why.

Last week I saw my first "IMPEACH BUSH" sticker. I couldn't agree more.

The new stickers you saw--some of them could have been on a new car, or recently replaced on an old one. Sometimes just washing a car makes the stickers look fresh. What I'm saying is that Bush is losing support generally (2 to 1 odds against picking up supporters), though of course it is possible. There are people who don't read newspapers and only listen to Rush types.

19. I have seen some Bush-Cheney 04 stickers in and around Austin lately.
I surmise that those few people left who don't think he's an embarrassment have been persuaded to put new stickers on their cars to "show the flag".

I think it's desperation.

In other words, every sticker you see represents one, and only one, supporter. :)

I'm going to print up a

I think the problem is there isn't anything we can put up to replace our K/E stickers.

21. Hey Neighbor!

I live in Raleigh. I haven't noticed any more W/04 stickers than what I normally see in this area (which is enough to make me gag).

On a positive note: I've had many former Bush fans in this area admit to me that they've changed their mind about Bush and the current administration. They're slowly but surely coming over to our side. Whoo Hoo! That's a very good sign. If NC Bush supporters are finally seeing the truth, maybe the rest of America is waking up too!

as we're sitting at stoplights. i always expect to see a werewolf or troll or something. most of them just look vacant -- occasionally they look mean.

i was thinking this morning that we really are down to the dregs now. only the truly stupid or the truly evil could support these demons. i consider those stickers a useful early warning system for a driver who is not functioning on all levels.

51. Nah, they never went away.
.. I especially doubt that "W" supporters have brand new W04 stickers sitting around their house to put on and take off depending on how they feel about their party and pre*z at any given time.

I think that we as a group "see" less of them when we are optimistic about things and that the tide is turning somehow.. but as soon as things take a turn for the worse and we are right back where we started, we're actually seeing the same ol' ones that have always been there. They are just more prevalent because we're pissed that our temporary rosy outlook has regressed back to that of dislike, disgust, and despair. And what better to kick you when you're down than a gas-guzzlin' Suburban with those stickers plastered all over them?

JMO FWIW.

I think the W stickers and the Judge Roy Moore stickers here in Alabama cut down on traffic accidents. When you see one you have to know that you should stay clear of that vehicle because the driver probably does not have the mental capacity to operate machinery.

58. Noticed 3 fresh looking ones driving through central VA
on big late model SUVs (we commented on it in the car I was in) --but we were on the heavily-travelled interstate corridor, so the cars could have been from anywhere. We took it as a resurgence of "W" love, expressions from the hardcore. You gotta expect that when someone is exalted as Christ Incarnate, that there will be loyalists coming out of the woodwork now to show their devotion. Especially important when he's down, y'know. (The relatively sane Boosh supporters will have taken their stickers off).

We saw so many Kerry-Edwards stickers on the trip we lost count. ;)
