Oh, My God! I broke the law! I broke the law by ANNOYING you by pointing out the fact that the law is made ANNOYINGLY unconstitutional by that ANNOYING Bill of Rights which I just ANNOYED you with by quoting without my real name the Bill of Rights to point out that it is unconstitutional to tell someone that they can't annoy you. I seriously doubt it. As has been pointed out numerous times this oh so terrible law is actually no big deal. Unless of course you think that John Conyers and Barney Frank (along with well over 100 other Democratic Senators and Congressmen who signed on as sponsors of the bill) are actually plotting with chimpy to put us all in chains. Aided and abetted, of course, by the ACLU, which sent a letter to Congress strongly endorsing the legislation.

To extend existing provisions about telephone harassment (eg. anonymous calls with intent to annoy, etc). to cover VOiP. Is it well drafted? No. Will it be used willy-nilly. Unlikely.
