None of these stupid polls coming out right now matter. They're encouraging, and it's fun to imagine what might happen, but elections matter. And a lot can change in five-six months.

I was sorry to see that they weren't able to give Gore their votes. I hadn't heard about any polling place irregularities. But, in light of your information, I will hope that those problems will have been solved prior to November.
This rural county is true blue... The people here are the first to feel the pinch when Republicans in office start cutting the safety nets. Like one older lady here told me in 2004, "whenever there's a Republican president, it's hard times".
