After my local paper published my LTTE, family members who I have never normally discussed political issues with have opened up and shaken my hand in agreement about the situation our country is in today.

To my shock and surprise, family members from the old country have actually used the word - fascist - in reference to the current squatter in the White House.

It will be difficult for the republicans to extricate themselves from the quicksand policies of their leadership.

I see a democratic awakening happening.
