Securing our borders is boilerplate. Something presidents normally do

Do we really need a prime time Declaration to his Subjects from the The King Majesty that he is doing his job? This is the kind of stuff that is just supposed to be done. Kind of like making sure peoples Social Security checks get sent out on time. Whats the big deal here?
