Armando Responds to Joe Klein

Last Thursday, USA Today reported that the NSA was monitoring some 90% of calls made in America, in potential violation of the privacy laws as well as that pesky Fourth Amendment.

Today? We learned from ABC that the government is monitoring calls to media organizations such as ABC, the New York Times and the Washington Post in an effort to stifle dissent from government whistle blowers. So much for the First Amendment right to Freedom of Press. I can't wait to read the paper (or the blogosphere) to see what liberty is up for grabs tomorrow.

Thanks to Armando of Kos for responding to Joe Klein's attack against me and my good friends and colleagues Charlie Rangel and Alcee Hastings. I will tell you personally, the increasing shrillness of the attacks simply means our message is getting through and the GOP is running scared. I expect far more mud to be slung before November.
