Since I know Michelle reads this site every day, I just want to encourage her to continue driving a stake right into the heart of the Republican Party, driving a irreparable rift between corporate cheap labor conservatives and the nativist wing of the party.

Ms. Malkin has always been anti-immigration. IIRC she wrote an infamous screed praising the US for the Japanese-American concentration camp program during World War II.

That she's pissed at Bush over his immigration position isn't surprising.

The Repuke element said Bush was finished, had no chance at a comeback and his immigration idea (free amnesty for illegals) will be worse than his Katrina debacle.
