If that's been jettisoned, and there's to this moment no evidence or independent corroboration of the fundamentals of the story, will someone PLEASE explain to me WHY anyone believes the story?

I just don't understand. I WANT it to be true, but WANT is not even remotely close to PROOF.

Am I really the only one bothered by this? I don't mean to be complaining about the author, or "smearing" anyone, but I just don't understand exactly what standards the believers here are using to come to their belief.

and that the announcement will come sometime between now and who knows when.

He based his story on the word of six or eight or maybe now two anonymous sources. Much support has been rallied for the story, and a few people have asked a lot of questions that aren't being answered.
