Not sure how to answer this survey question from Common Cause

Most states award all their electoral votes to the winning presidential candidate. Should states divide their electoral votes in proportion to the popular vote for each candidate?

I see pros and cons. The obvious pro is fairer representation, but it seems this would also create even more motive to mess with the ballot box.

What say you all?

No. They just need to do away with the electoral college all together.

3. YES they should.

if a state goes 49-51, the elect votes should be split. It much, much better represents the will of the electorate than the current system. People who realise, then, that their state isn't already not important or is decided will actually SHOW UP TO VOTE. And the fuckwads in OH & FL would not have been able to jack the last 2 elections, either.
