Qwest unavailable in Michigan. For whom can I dump Verizon?
Does anyone have a list of wireless providers that do/do not fall under the ATT/Bellsouth/Verizon umbrella? I'm looking to dump Verizon, and especially looking forward to the phone call I will make to them in which I inform them why.

Is Sprint clean? T-Mobile?

1. Someone posted earlier today that
T-Mobile will not provide information to the NSA. I am sorry but I don't know where the post is, maybe someone can help.

2. I just *knew* Catherine Zeta-Jones would never betray us!
If that's the case, then I'll sign up for T-Mobile this week.

4. Drop your LAN line altogether and go with a cell phone.
Check cingular. I am not sure if they were involved or not.

7. I switched from Verizon just today
Changed to iWireless service which is local here in Iowa and is partnered with T-Mobile for nationwide calling plans. Cheaper than Verizon with double the minutes, local customer service, very similar nationwide coverage to Verizon. Called them yesterday to confirm they are not cooperating with data mining and T-Mobile has also announced it isn't data mining.

8. Great news! Got a link to the T-mobile announcement?
I'd like to confirm the story, because I live in Michigan too, so apparently I can't get qwest either. I just signed a verizon contract, but I'll gladly pay the $150 or whatever it is to get out of the contract. F*ck em. It's worth it.

I wonder if there's a thread at FreakRepublicans.com urging people to dump QWest and change to Verizon?

10. Re: the verizon contract
Do you have your contract handy? Is there any mention about privacy protection? Perhaps Verizon has already breached the contract?
