My family always asks me how I know all this stuff is going on, where I hear all this stuff. Since they're all major freeps, and since I won't put myself in the position of being skewered by them, I just tell them I read lots of different newspapers and wire services online.

But it would be so much easier to NOT keep up with all this.

one of my neighbors (I'm good friends with)..her whole family
knows that I'm a "political junkie"...so when it comes to voting
here in Canada..they always talk to me first to get an idea of
who is best to vote for (cause we have the same principles generally
speaking)...now I feel obligated to stay informed..Oh that's crap,
truth be told, I'm hooked. lol.

debate they painted Martin as a loser and Haper as "looking Prime Ministerial"...utter bullshit!

Hubby and I watched the ENTIRE debate..and both agreed that
Martin won that debate hands down!..Harper looked like a robot
with a few points memorized..he was awful..and the media called
him Prime Ministerial ???WTF???..well we just looked at each other and thought,
'what debate were THEY watching'...it was infuriating. You know,
I felt like I was watching American News by being manipulated in
this way.

campaign being financed in part by "US funds" i.e., Ralph Reeds Republican/"Christian" *choke choke* thieves..well it will have gone over most Canadians heads. Harper is bought and paid for by the pResident turd and his handlers.

Our media never used to be that way but my god has it changed!

30. I think I missed that comment too, but I concluded this

myself anyway..on the news the other night..a person being interviewed
in a piece in Quebec (think she was from the Liberal Party) made a quick
remark in passing, "..and who is behind him" (implying the Americans..at
least that's what I was thinking)

I cannot believe our news media wouldn't bring out these facts. Is that
legal to take out of country campaign funds?

Reeds organization gives it to a "Canadian" Christian organization and they give it to the Harper group. In that way it's "Canadians" giving to a Canadian campaign. Now, the reality is it's money laundering. It's illegal for any Canadian party to accept money from any outside country but that is how they got around it.
