My area is slowly...ever so slowly...becoming more blue...more anti-republican,anti-bush letters...
Waxahachie Texas-65% RED population..5,000-over the Past WEEK-all different authors
samples from our paper

"Well bless Everett King’s little heart! He’s still blaming everything on “THE LIBERALS,” even though the liberals are not in charge ... at least for now. High gas prices can’t be blamed on the oil men we’ve elected to lead us, or the fact that the huge deficit that Incurious George has accrued for us has caused anything imported to cost much more, oh my no! It’s the liberals. The fact that oil companies are reporting profits that are many billions over this time last year isn’t an issue ... it’s the Liberals, by golly!"

"What kind of mother would I be if I did NOT speak out, did NOT protest, did NOT fight to protect everything my son, my dad, my grandfather, etc. have fought for — freedom of speech, freedom from corruption and deceit. I love America and I love Americans. I would hate to see America become a multi-national subsidiary."

"I have always believed in my gut (according to President Bush, the source of all knowledge) that the war on Iraq was cooked up as a supremely cynical Republican strategy to put Bush in a place where the entire country would do his bidding — and it pretty much turned out that way, didn’t it?"

"Now a question: Do you buy Dubai? President Bush tried to give control of our port facilities, which are sensitive to our national security to DUBAI. When the issue failed, he let things such as American anger cool down and now is giving the manufacture of parts of our military aircraft to DUBAI. Does it not seem more logical if the manufacturer of the aircraft were to supply spare parts for the aircraft the company manufactured?"

1. Simple Logic...
Simple, because it has to be if it applies to Republimorons. Logic, well, that is an oxymoron if used to refer to RepubliConservoids. It is this: Republicans consider Democrats to be synonymous with the "Devil". Now, if they do a Baaad thing... naturally, their claim is "The Devil Made Me Do It". Ergo... The Democrats made me do it. Therefore: It's the Democrats fault!

Whew.

2. I have to get in a real mellow state to pen a publishable LTTE
Most of mine are incendiary; of the "conservatives suck and are ruining this country variety." But occasionally I'll get one published. The kinder gentler ones.
