Sure he went after Nancy Pelosi this weekend on Meet The Press.
I guess that has lots of people stirred up...

I for one didn't like many of her answers she gave to his questions.
Such as if Democrats win in the election in nov 06 will they
repeal the Bush tax cuts
or bring about investigations..
She wouldn't answer directly.

Since I don't patronize advertisers I see on GE/NBC, nor do I hold a ratings book and I avoid buying anything that has a GE attached to it, I'm doing what I can to avoid contributing to Timmeh's fat paycheck...and I want to hear his astroturfing.

Jane Hamsher has a great insight about Russert and Tweety and their fear right now of losing their relevency and access as the S.S. Booooosh goes down in flames. They sold their souls to Bob Welch and General Electric for the big money and fame and part of their svengali deal was to be corporate and GOOP shills. Now that they've been compromised they're in too deep to truly be a "journalist" or honest political observer...instead they're bellweathers of the spin points and mis-information this regime gets out in the media so well.

Avoiding what these traitors have to say is allow the Rovian spin to go from "rumor" to "fact" and pass along unchallenged. In fact, Timmeh went straight for those points...first with the Ken-Doll Mehlmann Chicken Little line that the Democrats are hell-bent on impeachment and then spitting up the debunked lie that Democrats were tied in with Abramoff. So if you turn it off and pretend they're not there doesn't mean these lies go away.

My hat is off to those who go into the fever swamp and find all these lies that we now are starting to fight back against. Instead of sticking heads in the sand, these spin points must be hit and hit hard the moment they slip out on the corporate media.

Always take note of what advertisers are on the shows your watching...specifically local ones. If you're pissed off, then write or visit this advertiser (the more local the better) and tell them how you feel...they may not realize their money is going to pay for spreading lies or not like being an abeter in the lies.
