Disgust! Instead of Musak I was treated to fascist demogogue

Michael Savage raging and raving while on hold after phoning the local Mt Shasta CA business that serves the DISH network here in Siskiyou County. I'm a business person myself with long hours on the phone to customers. I can't imagine what these morons are thinking... that unsuspecting customers should be forced to listen to looney tunes extremists while waiting to conduct a simple business transaction. That ain't good business as they are soon to find out.
6. Firehouse Subs' corporate office REQUIRES them to show Fox News.
I asked a manager once why the TV is always on Faux, and they said that it's a directive from their home office. They must show Fox News or a sporting event, nothing else.
7. I see that all the time, once in a fairly upscale hotel and I've got
to wonder, is this culture afraid of silence? TVs are on in restaurants and waiting rooms and hotel lobbies - it's like we can't do without that noise!
I go to my dentist' in the afternoons and end up forced to watch soap operas! They have magazines there too. Is the TV for the illiterate?
a culture that requires CONSTANT stimulation. My pet peeve is when TVs blare at the doctor's office with cable "news" channels. Listening to Wolf Blitzer yammer away when feeling poorly does NOTHING to improve one's condition! Hell, he makes me sick even when I'm in the best of health!
10. You absolutely need to complain to Dish Network.
They have given you no choice but to do biz with that company. It's one thing to have a republican leaning media at a biz, but Savage is outside the realm of normal political discourse. We can't agree with everything on tv or radio, but what they are playing is unforgivable in biz. Call Dish Network and that company and complain.
