Cause... effect
Remember that tax cut I gave you... remember it. It was a long time ago. You might not have enjoyed it, if you lost your job in the recession. Sure your average buying power is down yet again. Whatever federal tax relief you got most likely has been eatin up by increases to state and local taxes. And well most of those cuts they went to people that make way more money than you. Well trust me that last quarter growth. That was due to that tax cut.


Bush said tax relief is responsible for a strong U.S. economy. For the first quarter, the economy grew at a 4.8 percent pace, the fastest in 2 1/2 years. A big pickup in consumer spending figured prominently in the strong showing, which surpassed the 3.5 percent growth rate for 2005
