Supporting Republican gerrymandering (Republican version of election reform---create districts in which it’s no longer necessary to suppress the African American vote at the polls)
Stonewalling real election reform
Sanctioning torture
Illegally spying on American
Trying to avert blame for the Bush administration's incompetent response to Katrina
Appointing cronies at every level and in every branch of government
Lying about dealings with Abramoff and other criminals

I think he beats the comedian hands down when it comes to bad taste. In fact, his actions are criminal.

But when Colbert got up there and started jabbing the room fell silent. I don't know what would have been better; If he would have knocked the room on their ass laughing or what he did do, brought up uncomfortable ideas ad silenced them. He stole the show and flat out embarrassed them on their home field.

Colbert will be on 60 Minutes tonight. There were some people who enjoyed, it but the majority looked really uncomfortable which was as good as it gets. Can't wait for the babbling punditocracy on the Sunday talk shows in a few minutes.
