When the White House press corps first starts asking questions of new White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, the first question should be, "Sir, exactly what are you trying to hide?". There are a plethora of glib answers one could give to such a question, but the fact remains, Mr. Snow was a regular poster over at Free Republic ( http://www.freerepublic.com ), and as one can see from the link and quote below, overnight when it was announced he would be the new press secretary, the mountain of information Mr. Snow had submitted and had posted on the site disappeared. What is he hiding? What sorts of comments is he afraid might see the light of day?

What is the connection? An single article...? It is completely clear that he wrote and published the piece in the Detroit News.

How do I know Tony Snow is, without question, connected to StormFront.org? Because one of his articles appears on one of their sites, has appeared there for some time, and hasn't been removed -- even since being linked to Tony Snow some time ago.

This article is rather tame by comparison with the rest of the site (just click on some of the innocuous looking links about Black History), but note these statements by Snow in this piece, first praising a book that is critical of Africa, and finishing with a compulsory slam of Clinton:

There's a good chance you can still find a cached image on Google of the post, even if Free Republic removes his posts. Google keeps an image of the original page on their site. All you have to do is get a screen shot of the cached page before Google's spider program visits the updated page again.

It's not a quick process, but to be on the safe side do it now. Don't delay.

I googled the Snow Kwanza piece a bit. And it appears on both pro-Kwanza sites and sites critical of Kwanza...

But - it is also on some pretty creepy sites that make the mlk site look tame...I was afraid to even click on some of them.

Snow needs to get his lawyers on this - it does look pretty bad if he lets this stuff stay up. I seriously doubt most of those sites have any real persmisson to reproduce that stuff.
